DIAMAKLEEN

Keteca Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner is a surfactant based aqueous cleaner that chemically emulsifies solder pastes from stencils, screens and misprinted PCBs. Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner is a solvent free cleaner specially formulated to remove all SMT solder paste types: lead and lead-free, water soluble and no-clean. Unlike solvents that may affect air quality and may cause potential health hazards, Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner meets the highest standards set for material compatibility, environmental friendliness, health and safety. Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner does not cause treatment issues in the waste water processing system, or leave any residue.

HOW DOES DIAMAKLEEN STENCIL CLEANER WORK?

Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner works by lowering the surface tension of water. This allows our water-based aqueous cleaner to penetrate between the paste and the stencil. The paste is subsequently ‘lifted’ from the surface. It is exactly this physical ‘lifting’ mechanism that allows our product to remove even the toughest paste, while at the same time, does not cause any damage to the material surface. There is no etching nor corrosive mechanisms as in the case with many alcohol/thinner based solvents.

DIAMAKLEEN STENCIL CLEANER APPLICATION

Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner can be used in a simple manual spray-wipe clean process. Immersion-cleaning (with or without ultrasonic agitation) are suitable as well.
For general contaminated areas, spray Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner onto area to be cleaned. Use a lint-free cloth and wipe clean. For tough to remove paste, allow it to come in contact for a few minutes, and wipe clean. Rinse clean with DI water (optional). For thick pastes stuck on stencils, it is recommended to scrap off excess material before applying Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner.
Diamakleen Stencil Cleaner can be used at temperatures up to 70°C for improved effectiveness. However, care has to be taken to avoid heat damage of the stencil (warp and distortion).
